What questions were raised because of the 10 hours of experience?

I want to learn how the bike manufactures creates such lightweight bikes while maintaining the strength needed to withstand the rider. I want to learn how the riders who come to the shop train for their races and marathons and how I can improve on my own endurance, strength and technique. I want to learn all the major things that go into the making the best bike possible. I want to learn what it takes to start a bike shop from just the dream of owning one.

What is the most important thing I gained from this experience? Why?

The most important thing I gained from this experience is how all the parts of a bicycle work together. Since my goal in the near future is to learn how to forge and create my own bike with my own two hands and the skills I accumulate. My dream job is to own a high end bicycle manufacturing company that not only competes with trek but surpasses them in every category.

How did what I did help me choose a topic?

I knew that my goal is to one day manufacture bicycles, but in order to achieve that goal I need to learn everything I can about working on them first. I knew by working at this shop that I would learn both the mechanic and business sides of owning a biking establishment. I figured owning a bicycle shop would be a milestone toward my goal of manufacturing bikes.
